Studio Kuraでは、Peter Dijkによる滞在制作発表展「Kura Tako / Dynamic Mapping, 2026」を開催します！１か月のレジデンス期間を通してPeterが制作した最新作を展示いたします。開催日時 4月25日（土）、26日（日） 11:00〜17:00 ※25日（土）14:30よりアーティストトークを行います。皆さまのお越しを心よりお待ちしております。以下アーティストからのメッセージです。紙はこれまでずっと、私のドローイングやシルクスクリーン作品における主要なメディアでした。紙の種類が持つ個性――粗いもの、きめ細かいもの、ざらざらしたもの、厚いもの、透けるほど薄いもの、あるいは壊れやすいもの――は、私にとってとても重要です。現在のテーマは都市地図と、あらゆる種類の（印刷された／されていない）紙であり、そこに歴史的・文化的・社会的な要素を重ね合わせています。こうした要素は、アーティストブックや彫刻的な作品「Dynamic Mapping」に取り入れられています。この方法によって、紙は空間的な形態を生み出す素材となり、制作過程において大きな自由と、渦のようなダイナミックさをもたらしてくれます。スタジオクーラでの作品は、水をテーマにしたさまざまな側面を含んでいます。海、川、魚、観光、海戦、そして水の体験です。タコは私のミューズであり、そこからタイトル「Kura Tako」が生まれました。 Paper has always been the medium for my drawings and silkscreen prints. The character of paper types are important to me; coarse, fine, rough, thick, transparent thin or fragile. My current theme is city maps and (un)printed paper of all kinds, with reference to history, cultural or social content. I incorporate this into artist books and sculptural work “ Dynamic Mapping”. In this way paper becomes a material for creating spatial forms and that gives me a great lot of freedom and a whirlwind dynamic during the work proces. The work in studio Kura has various aspects of water as it’s theme: the sea, rivers, fish, tourism, naval battles and the experience of water. The octopus is my muse, hence the title “ Kura Tako”.
